Northern Education Initiative (NEI) Plus

Anthony Udeh is an Information Communication Technology expert with a passion for transformational change in improving the quality of life in the communities he works in. Over the last 9 years, he has successfully used technology in improving implementing organizations, government and local community groups systems, strategies and processes for quality delivery and effective management of health interventions, livelihood projects, capacity building, knowledge management, monitoring evaluation research assessments and learning, basic and primary education in a resource-challenged emergency context, nutrition, and agriculture interventions, community mobilization and civil society interventions, and IT service delivery.

Anthony has successfully led the design, development and use of digital mobile technology and Business intelligence platforms for education improvement in largest USAID education project in Nigeria, The Northern Education Initiative (NEI) Plus Project, where his innovative use of technology has improved the government of Sokoto and Bauchi state local education monitoring, supportive supervision, and instruction delivery for over 10,000 teachers in 7000 schools and non-formal learning centers, increasing access to quality education and learning outcomes for over 1 million children across two states in Northern Nigeria.
